Barbara Ramos is Chief of Strategies and Policies for Trade and Investment at the International Trade Centre (ITC). Prior to joining ITC, Dr. Ramos was the Team Manager and Knowledge Lead at the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, based at the World Economic Forum, where she managed staff responsible for research, data analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. She previously worked for the Inter-American Development Bank, the African Development Bank, the World Bank and USAID. Dr. Ramos has also been lecturing international trade and investment at The Fletcher School for a number of years. She holds a PhD and a MA in International Trade from The Fletcher School (United States) and a MA and BA in International Relations from Universidade de Brasília (Brazil).
