Nguyen Maily Anna Maria, expert institutional relations, business internationalization and business development, in recent years she has gained significant experience in the field of SMART CITY and SMART COMMUNITY. She got two bachelor’s degree: one is in Disciplines of Linguistic Mediation and in Consulting and Business Management of Local Public Government. In 2007 she also obtained the European professional qualification as Internationalization Expert.

In 2023 she obtained a Master's Degree in Management of Local Authorities.

Nguyen Maily Anna Maria has begun to promote Vietnam in 2007 with the Ambassador of Vietnam in Italy H.E. Nguyen Van Nam and since then she has always worked close with Vietnamese Ambassadors in Italy in several environments such as  institutional, business, foreign direct investment, education, etc.

With more than 18 years of experience gained during the collaboration with Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna (Regional Association of Chamber of Commerce), as head of Institutional Relations and e-Government for over a decade and with Becamex IDC as Representative in Italy, Europe, Switzerland and UK, the recent appointments as President of the Italy-Vietnam Foundation and delegate of the Embassy of Vietnam in Emilia-Romagna have made it possible to expand and strengthen relations with the economic, social and institutional system of the territory at European, Italian, Regional and Province level.

Nguyen Maily Anna Maria has organized more than 150seminars/workshops with more than 6000 attendants (companies, consultants, business association, institutions), she has facilitated several agreements between Italian and Vietnamese institutions(MOU between Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna and other institutions in Vietnam as VCCI, Becamex, etc., MOU between Vietnam Alliance Cooperative and Italian Cooperative, MOU between Emilia-Romagna Region and Binh Duong Province, etc.)and she has organized institutional and company missions to Vietnam.

Nguyen Maily Anna Maria also has supported Vietnamese Embassy in Italt to organize visits of high-ranking delegations from Vietnam such as State visit of President of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam in Italy (with visits to Coop and Conad), the President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (to deepen the theme of the cooperative system in Emilia-Romagna),  Minister and Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, etc, more in general visits of VN delegation in Italy. She usually attends high-ranking visits at Vietnamese Embassy in Romea and some times in Europe, Switzerland or UK.She also supported Vietnamese Embassy to organize the celebration of 40 and 50 years anniversary of Diplomatic Relation. She usually attends the Joint Commission between Italy and Vietnam.

Regarding activities in Europe, in 2013 Nguyen Maily Anna Maria as Representative of Becamex IDC in Europe, UK and Switzerland, took part in the European delegation led by the Vice President of the European Commission Tajani to Vietnam as a bridge between Europe and Vietnam. In 2017 she  took part in the Delegation of Eurocham to European Commission to facilitate thesigning of the Free Trade Agreement Europe-Vietnam. She made  speeches at high level events as in Genappe; in Bruxelles and Helsinki on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN; at World Economic Forum in Davos in 2018-2020, in Zurich events organized by Becamex and Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce, Sometimes she is invited by Vietnamese Embassy in several countries to make speeches about Vietnam.

In 2022, Nguyen Maily Anna Maria wrote the book “Vietnam a world of opportunity. Towards Society 5.0.” published by Albastros Editor. Her work was reviewed by more than 300 articles in the News Paper and Magazines.

In 2023 Nguyen Maily Anna Maria was awarded Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic to contribute to create and strengthen relations between Italy and Vietnam. She was also appointed as Delegate of Vietnam Embassy for Emilia-Romagna and Umbria Region (In Italy)

In the same year, to strengthen and amplify her activities, Nguyen Maily Anna Maria established the Italy-Vietnam Foundation with the aim to support the modernization and industrialization of Vietnam and she was appointed as Chairman.

In 2024 Nguyen Maily Anna Maria was awarded The Friendship Medal of Vietnam by the President of Vietnam.
